Parish Picnic
Our Parish Picnic will be next Sunday, June 7 after the 11:00 am Mass. Please come and join us. A good way to spend the afternoon with your church family. Please bring a meat dish, and a side dish (vegetable, salad, etc) or dessert to share.
Mass schedule
Please note: Fr. John will be attending the Priest Retreat next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. There will not be daily Mass those days but there will be a Communion Service at 9:00 am.
Faith Offering
The Faith offering will continue to be taken up on the 2nd full weekend of each month. There also will be a basket in the Parish Hall if you want to bring items at another time.

WE ARE IN NEED OF ALTAR SERVERS, especially on Sunday mornings. (adults or children, 4th grade & older)
Administration Building
We are trying to finish up the work in the basement of the Administration building by the beginning of September, in time for Religious Ed. If anyone can come on Saturdays to help out please call the church office. We also need people to prepare lunch for the workers.

Altar Flowers
Alter Flowers were donated by Kathy Burns in memory of her mother Betty Durbin’s birthday.
With a donation of $40.00 flowers can be placed on the Altar in honor of your loved ones (living or deceased). Orders need to be placed no later than Wednesday of the week that you want them for. Can also take advance orders.

The annual golf tournament to benefit Catholic Charities’ Pregnancy Services program is Saturday, June 13, beginning at 9 a.m. at Brainerd Golf Course. For registration or sponsorship information, contact the Pregnancy Services office at 265-2122 or therese@ccetn.org.

Chili’s restaurants “Give Back Night” for Catholic Charities is June 2. Present the Chili’s Give Back Night coupon at any Chili’s in East Tennessee on the first Tuesday of the month, between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m., and Chili’s will donate 10 percent of your purchase back to Catholic Charities! Coupons are available at www.ccetn.org.
Food collection volunteers are needed to assist Catholic Charities staff working with its Greater Knoxville area shelter and food pantry programs. Call 865-524-9896 if you or your group can help.
Catholic Charities’ Office of Immigrant Services provides low-cost assistance for those who cannot afford an attorney. Services include status adjustments, petitioning for family members, citizenship and naturalization, and translation services. The program is accredited by the U.S. Bureau of Immigration Appeals. Catholic Charities offers credentialed and confidential counseling services on an income-based sliding fee scale. Services are available to anyone in the community.
