Penance Service in the area:

All Saints, Knoxville: Monday, March 17th at 7pm.

 

Clinton Community Holy Week Services will be at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church March 17th through the 21st at 12:05 pm. St. Thérèse will have to do the service on Tuesday March the 18th. Please come and support us.

 

Easter Egg Hunt

There will be an Easter Egg Hunt on March 23rd immediately following the 11am Mass. Children in the 5th grade and younger are invited to participate. Come have your picture made with the Easter bunny and don’t forget your Easter basket.

 

Cookbooks

If you bought a cookbook and have not received the additional recipes, please let us know. The completed cookbooks are now on sale. If you have not bought one, please do so. Cost: $12 each or 5 for $50. Proceeds go toward our building fund.

Please mark your calendars: Father Bill Kiel will be holding a healing Mass at Holy Trinity Church on April 22nd at 9am and at 7pm.

If you have not received a new ministry schedule, please check in the back or call the church office.

Please return the baby bottles filled with change for Choice’s Resource Center as soon as possible.

CCW

Mark your calendar. The CCW will be holding a rummage sale on April 18th & 19th. Since there are several other events going on, please wait to bring in your items. We will let you know when you can bring them in.

Please note: The Church office will be closed on Friday, March 21st to observe Good Friday. Deadline for items for next week’s bulletin will be Wednesday morning.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Bill Simon, Tootie Kreb’s brother and also for Carmine Sesa’s sister who both passed away last week.

Please join us for a special prayer vigil on Good Friday morning, March 21st, from 8am to 10am in front of the abortion clinic at 313 S. Concord Street across from Tyson Park. We will begin gathering at 7:30am. As we recall Our Lord’s suffering and death, let us gather to give witness to the Culture of Life with our prayers for the end of abortion, the healing of post-abortive women, and the conversion of the staffs of abortion clinics.

Catholic Charities 23rd Annual Catholic Charities Dinner on Thursday, April 3rd, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Knoxville. Cocktails at 6pm in the ballroom, followed by dinner and entertainment. Benefits the shelter, counseling, outreach and children’s services of the Knoxville Region. Saturday, April 12th, Council 645 of the Knights of Columbus along with St. Joseph School will hold an art auction to benefit the school and Catholic education. Preview the art work at 6:30pm and experience the excitement of a live auction at 7:30pm. Tickets $10 per person or $30 for four people. Gourmet hors d’oeuvres and wine are included.
