 ADFAC will be collecting school supplies for low income families from July 6th through August 10.   There is a list of supplies needed in the bulletin and on the bulletin board.  Monetary donations will be accepted through July 6th. 

 

 

Altar Flowers

With a donation of $40.00 flowers can be placed on the Altar in honor of your loved ones (living or deceased).    Orders need to be placed no later than Wednesday of the week that you want them for.  Can also take advance orders. Call the church office to make arrangements.  

 

Fun Fair

Mark your calendars for the Fun Fair on Saturday September 12.  We need everyone’s help.  We need auction items, new or almost new, in good shape (clean and workable).  Check your attic, basement, or closet.   You may start bringing them in anytime now.  If you have any questions, please call the church office

 

Administration Building

We are trying to finish up the work in the basement of the Administration building by the beginning of September, in time for Religious Ed.   If anyone can come on Saturdays to help out please call the church office.  We also need people to prepare lunch for the workers.

DIOCESAN NEWS

Please join Bishop Stika for Diocesan Day 2009 on Sat, 22 Aug from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at All Saints Church in Knoxville.Cardinal Justin Rigali will be our keynote speaker and Homilist for Mass and will share reflections on our theme, “You Have But One Teacher” (Matt 23:8). afternoon program will feature Bishop Stika.  This will be his first opportunity to speak to a diocesan audience since his ordination and installation five months earlier., he will have much of interest to share with us! Proceeds will assist the newly opened Catholic Charities Pregnancy Help Center in LaFollette as well as Catholic Relief Services with their mission in Sudan. Catholic Charities’ Office of Immigrant Services provides low-cost immigration legal assistance for those who cannot afford an attorney.  Services include status adjustments, petitioning for family members, citizenship and naturalization, and translation services.
